May 3rd 2012 Cadillac Mt.

Back up Cadillac Mountain this week.  This time from the South Ridge Trail. This weeks hike was lead by Judy E. & Trina D. with a special treat  . . . a tailgate dessert party.

April 19th 2012 Beech Mt ANP

Gloria H. lead us up Beech Mountain this week starting from the Echo Lake parking lot on a new trail. 
 Nice weather and cool temps made for a very pleasant day.

April 5th 2012 Cadillac Mt. ANP

This week it's winter again, but still no snow so Shirley E. leads the DOC up a scenic walk on the winding road up Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. The park is still officially closed so their is no traffic.

March 22nd 2012 Naskeag Point Brooklin

March 22nd and the temp is 80' note the shorts and short sleeves

Sal R. lead this weeks 20+ DOC'ers on a hike to  Naskeag Point with lunch on the shore at the Woodenboat school.

March 29/30th 2012 Parkman Mt.

Still no snow so Jane & Gordon R. Lead about 25 DOC'ers up Parkman mountain in Acadia National Park in search of the illusive snowy owl.  Despite the cold wind we were successful in our quest.

March 15th 2012 GPMT in Orland

  Sill no snow so Bob & Sandy B. lead the club on a hike along the Dead River Trail in the Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust  Property in Orland.  Lunch was on the bank of Alamoosook lake.

Feb 16th 2012 MDI Eagle Lake

Judy E. lead this weeks hike to MDI Eagle Lake.  Still no snow just Ice Ice and more Ice
