Aug 2010 Rangeley Lake Camping trip

Some rain, some sunshine & lots of good company awaited DOC campers this year at Rangeley lake state park campground.

Oct 18th 2010 Twin Pines

About 20 DOC members gathered at the Twin Pines resort in Millinocket for a off schedule outing.

Great weather + first class amenities made for a wonderful outing. Scuttle butt says that this could well be the location for the 2011 DOC annual camping trip. Kind of a easy way to go camping.

Oct 2nd 2010 Cider Pressing Party in Castine

Judy H. invited DOC members to join her family for a cider pressing party with fresh DONUTS !

Great weather combined with fresh apple cider & hot DONUTS cooked by David A. put a nice spin on this years fall season.

Sept 12th. Pedal the Penobscot Ride

This year several DOC members participated in The 4th annual "Pedal the Penobscot Ride"

A 28-mile ride or a 76-mile ride. Both routes are alongside the Penobscot river.
Money raised will help preserve habitat and help maintain bike trails for public use.

Sept 23rd Deer Isle Campbell Island

Jane & Gordon once again used their boat to ferry DOC members to Campbell Island for a great hike

19 hikers and 5 kayakers enjoyed the day.
