Dec 16 Potluck & Cooking demo in Castine

This weeks outing brought approximately 20 DOCers to Castine for a hike on the frozen banks of the Penobscot river and a desert souffle cooking demonstration at Jessie's house. Jessie showed everybody how to make two souffles, one chocolate and the other lemon. While the souffles were cooking everybody enjoyed a potluck lunch.

Dec 09 Bar Harbor Pub Crawl

Gordon and Jane lead 15 brave DOC hikers on a sunny & cool X-Country ski and walk on MDI on Park Loop Rd at Otter Cliff. With just barley enough snow to keep the skiers happy and the walkers off of the ice. Next stop was a breezy walk on the shore path in Bar Harbor. Lunch was at Geddy's Pub in Bar Harbor where everybody seemed to enjoy themselves.

2010 DOC Annual Holiday Luncheon Meeting

The December 2nd DOC Holiday Luncheon & Meeting was a big success attended by about 50 members. Once again the Manor Inn was a great venue with great food. After the lunch and club meeting Judy E. lead a hike through Castine.
