Ice Age Bus Trip with Professor Harold Borns
Tuesday, September 23rd
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost $20 to $30; bring lunch. Coffee and donuts supplied.
Travelers on this field trip will view firsthand the evidence and effects of the ice age as Hal will explain the glacial movement along the coast of Maine . The bus will travel through Ellsworth to Cherryfield and the blueberry barrens to the north. It will continue to Columbia Falls , then to Addison before returning home. There is not walking greater than 200 feet on flat surfaces.
