Upcoming DOC planning meeting

It's that time again , only this time with a little twist.

The Planning Meeting for the 4th quarter hikes is scheduled for Friday, August 22nd, however the Planning Committee Chairperson (Sue S.) has decided to have a meeting during the Shin Pond Camping trip sometime between Aug 17th and 20th.

Therefore we need to have any hikes you would like to lead for Oct., Nov., and Dec. relayed to the committee by this Saturday, August 16th.

Remember that November is hunting season. We will still leave the scheduled meeting for August 22nd on the calendar in case the Shin Pond meeting doesn't finish the job. Since heavy alcoholic consumption may preceded the meeting it's hard to predict the outcome !!

A list of previous DOC hikes has been posted for you to look over and get some ideas. Pass your hike ideas to a member of the committee , Joe B , Gloria H., Dick F., Sue S., Gordon R., Pat B., Dave A., Bev N., Linda B., Christina D., or myself.
