Shin Pond Village August 7 - 10th

It was a small turn out for the DOC's trip to Shin Pond this year.
Perhaps the cool weather was a factor.

Looks like once again they picked a fine day for a hike & lunch on the beach..

Castine to Hurricane Island (and back) July 28th

Once again Rick & Carol were most generous to use there boat to take the club to  Hurricane Island for a hike aboard the FROLIC. What a great way to spend the day. Lunch was on Hurricane Island and ice cream was available once we got back to Casine. A special thanks goes to Rick & Carol for this outing. WOW !

Belfast Hills to Sea Trail May 19th

Valerie & Christina picked a fine day to lead todays hike, well they organized it but Skip actually did the leading.  Note the short sleeves ?

Sunrise Trail (rails to trails) in Franklin March 10th

Mary Beth lead today's hike on the Sunrise Trail, starting in Franklin. Once again she invited the club to her house to warm up ;with some hot soup after the hike.
