Sunrise Trail (rails to trails) in Franklin March 10th

Mary Beth lead today's hike on the Sunrise Trail, starting in Franklin. Once again she invited the club to her house to warm up ;with some hot soup after the hike.

Castine's Witherle Woods February 18th

David Adams lead todays hike in Castine's Witherle Woods.  David knows a lot about the historic significance of Castine & the Penobscot river and he shared his knowledge with today's hikers. Lunch was on the down dock.

The Shore path in ANP February 4th

February weather, what can you say. Rain or snow. Today we had rain but not enough to keep us home. The Shore path in ANP was the location for todays hike and it's always beautiful here.

Cabin fever might have been a factor this day

Finally the DOC President invited the club to her exclusive mountain resort in Carrabassett Valley for a hike /ski along the Carrabassett Valley narrow gauge rail pathway ... plus a most lavish hot soup and cheese spread at her exclusive mountain cabin/resort/  .... Thanks Valerie  ( and David  )  Your both special
