Sorrento

Jim Zeman lead 20+ warm blooded DOC members around Sorrento, a long time favorite of the DOC.  Jim also arranged for us to take a look inside the Church and a walk to treasure island.

ANP Jordan Pond Carirage Road Walk April 10 2014

Ann & Neal P lead 24 DOC members on a 5 mile hike around Jordan pond on mostly snow free carriage roads.  Clear skies and nice temp in the high 40's made for a great walk.  Lunch was trail side looking over the pond to the boat house.

AMP Cadillac Mountain April 3 2014

Gloria H lead about 24 ambitious DOC members up the road to the summit of Cadillac Mountain.  The road was still closed to cars and buses so we only had to share it with a single bicycler and a snow plow.  It was kind of chilly at the top where we had lunch. Most everything at the top of the mountain had a thick cover of ice on it ... which made for a spectacular experience plus seeing 1 snowy owl.
