July 7th Perpendicular Trail up Mansell Mountain

Jane & Gordon R. were the hike leaders for this hike up the Perpendicular Trail on Mansell Mt.
it was a very steep climb but with convenient stone steps and a good view of Long Pond below. Those preferring a flatter walk took the Long Pond Trail. You might note in one of the pictures the obvious sign that Blueberries were ripe.












June 30th Flotilla event on Patten Pond Part 1

Linda and Henry B. hosted this DOC outing at their house on Patten Pond to celebrate a early 4th of July, combined with a scheduled DOC outing. Starting with a canoe/kayak paddle, lunch on the lake, a short hike and then a BBQ.

June 3rd Taunton Bay in Franklin Part 1

HIke leader Mary Beth and Frank D. invited the DOC to their house to see horseshoe crabs mating in Taunton Bay, in Franklin, their hike incorporated a bike/walk on Sunrise Trail and a fabulous lunch at their house.

May 26 Great Pond Mountain
